The library would like to invite you to participate in research on college students’ success and information literacy. The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between information literacy and student success. This form should take about 1 minute to complete.
Participation is voluntary and responses will be kept anonymous. However, we are working with the Internet, so there is the risk of compromising privacy, confidentiality, and/or anonymity due to a data breach. Despite this possibility, the risks to your physical, emotional, social, professional, or financial well-being are considered to be extremely low. We will try to minimize this risk by collecting data using well-established survey software. Every effort will be made to keep any data collected about you confidential. Information gained from this research may not benefit current students; however, we hope that the study may help future students succeed in higher education.
Participation or non-participation will not impact your relationship with Northwest Vista College or your grade in this course.
If you have any questions about the research, please contact Kristin Johnson via email at
